Dr Karon Hoffmann is a board-certified veterinary diagnostic radiologist with the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). With over two decades of specialist practice, she has developed a reputation for diagnostic precision, clear communication, and genuine care for the vets and patients she works with.

ImagingVets grew from a simple conviction: that vets in both general practice and specialist settings deserve access to expert imaging interpretation. Teleradiology, on-site visiting, and specialist training — all delivered with the personal touch.

Dr Hoffmann's expertise spans MRI, CT, radiography, and advanced ultrasound across both small animal and equine species. Her particular strengths include neurological studies, complex abdominal studies and echocardiography.

For approximately twenty years, she has been the trusted imaging consultant for the multiple veterinary referral centres where her expertise in advanced ultrasonographic imaging is integral to the management of complex cardiac cases. She has also been involved in the resident training program for the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and European college of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

Outside clinical practice, Dr Hoffmann is an educator and course director for the CPD-accredited CVE Sonology course — a hands-on ultrasound training program that has been praised by participants across Australia for its practical, clinic-ready approach.
